These terms govern your use of the Kovr mobile application. By downloading or using Kovr, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app. Plain language where possible — we want you to actually read this.
Kovr is a training and nutrition coaching app for endurance athletes. It uses artificial intelligence and a physiology engine to interpret the data you already collect — workouts, heart rate, HRV, sleep, weather, and nutrition — and provide personalised guidance. It is a tool to help you understand how your body is responding to training and make informed choices.
Kovr is not medical advice. The readiness reads, verdicts, and coaching provided by Kovr are estimates based on the data you and your devices provide. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have a medical condition or specific health concerns, consult a qualified healthcare professional before acting on Kovr’s guidance. Kovr is not a regulated medical device.
Kovr is not a precision instrument. Physiological estimates, calorie and macro figures, and training recommendations are approximations based on the information available. They are intended as useful directional guidance, not laboratory-grade accuracy. Actual values may vary with device accuracy, preparation methods, portion sizes, and individual physiology.
Kovr does not require you to create an account. There is no username, password, or email registration. Your data is stored locally on your device. This means if you lose your device or delete the app, your data cannot be recovered — there is no server-side backup.
Free trial. New users receive a 14-day free trial with access to Kovr’s features. The trial begins when you first open the app. No payment information is required to start the trial.
Subscription. To continue using Kovr after the 14-day free trial, you must subscribe. A subscription unlocks ongoing access to the daily read, session verdicts, the Ask coach, weekly reports, nutrition coaching, and all other features. Kovr offers two auto-renewing subscriptions: Monthly (US$9.99 per month) and Annual (US$104.99 per year). Prices are shown in your local currency in the app at the time of purchase and may vary by region. Each subscription begins after the 14-day free trial and renews automatically at the then-current price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Billing. All subscriptions are processed through Apple’s App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your iPhone’s Settings under Subscriptions.
Refunds. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies. We cannot process refunds directly.
The coaching responses, weekly letters, insight cards, and suggestions in Kovr are generated by artificial intelligence (Anthropic’s Claude), while the underlying physiological calculations are produced by a deterministic engine. AI-generated content is created in real time based on your data and should be understood as AI-generated guidance, not verified fact.
While we work to ensure the AI provides accurate and helpful responses, AI systems can make mistakes. You should use your own judgment when making training and dietary decisions based on Kovr’s output.
You agree to use Kovr for its intended purpose — personal training and nutrition coaching. You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app, interfere with or disrupt Kovr’s services or servers, use Kovr’s AI capabilities for purposes unrelated to personal training, or share your subscription access with others.
Kovr, including its design, code, AI prompts, coaching methodologies, physiology engine, and brand assets, is the intellectual property of its creators. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works based on Kovr without written permission.
Content generated by Kovr in response to your inputs is provided for your personal use. You may share individual responses but may not systematically collect or redistribute Kovr’s AI outputs.
We aim to keep Kovr available and functioning reliably, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. If we make changes that materially affect your subscription, we’ll provide reasonable notice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kovr and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. This includes but is not limited to damages arising from inaccurate estimates, training or dietary decisions made based on Kovr’s output, or loss of data.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law or equivalent consumer protection legislation in your jurisdiction that cannot be lawfully limited or excluded.
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Queensland, Australia.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update this page and note the date at the top. Continued use of Kovr after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
